Mouth and nose protection masks (MNS)
Mouth, nose protection masks – also known as surgical masks – have been developed for external protection. They protect the nose and mouth from contact with infectious droplets. The wearer himself is only protected to a limited extent with a medical mouth and nose mask, because the mask does not offer sufficient protection against aerosols (fine droplets). With a loose fit, this protective mask makes it easier to breathe. These masks are for single use only.

Particle filtering half masks (FFP)
Particle-filtering half masks (FFP masks) are items of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the context of occupational safety and are intended to protect the wearer of the mask from particles, droplets and aerosols.
The FFP2 and FFP3 respirators protect particularly effectively against the coronavirus and are particularly important for people who, as medical staff or helpers, are in direct contact with infected people or who belong to risk groups.
